Serving the city of Bangalore this airport is 40km from the city centre. It is the fourth busiest airport in India and is expected to handle 17 million passengers by 2015.

The airport is host to 10 domestic airlines and ovwe 20 international airlines connecting to over 50 airports worldwide.

A new high speed rail link has been commissioned to join the airport to the city centre and many bus routes currently connect to the city centre.
