This is the country's second airport and is located in Lapu Lapu City, Mactan Island. It is a major trade centre for both domestic and international traffic and now has more than 600 commercial flights weekly. It is a major airport for both passenger and cargo flights.

Many airlines operate international flights to many Asian cities including Seoul (Asiana Airlines), Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific), Shanghai (Chin Eastern Airlines) and Doha in the Middle East (Qatar Airways).

Domestically Airphil Express, Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and Zest Airways cover most of the countries major cities.
