Hiroshima Airport is actually located in the city of Mihara, 50km east of Hiroshima. It is the largest airport in the region.

Domestic flights operate to Tokyo, Sendai, and Sapporo whilst international operators run services to Taipai (China Airlines), Dalian (China Southern Airlines), Seoul (Asiana Airlines) and Beijing (Air China).
