This is the largest airport in Vietnam serving the city of Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nam Bo. A new international terminal opened in 2007 with a capacity for 8-10 millions passengers per year. The old terminal covers domestic passengers only.

All Asian cities are served from here as well as Frankurt (Lufthansa) Darwin and Aydney (Jetstar Airways). Vietnam Airlines fly to many destinations in Europe, Australia and Asia.

Cargo operators fly throughout Asia, Europe the Middle East and Australia.
