Ovda Airport is the second largest in Israel and located 60km north of Eilat. The airport today serves as the destination airport for many larger planes heading for Eilat which cannot use Eilat Airport's shorter runway.

Arkia Israel Airlines fly to Haifa and Tel Aviv, El Al to Tel Aviv and Israir to Haifa and Tel Aviv. All other flights are seasonal tourist flights to London, Moscow and Helsinki.
